The church of Saint John Chrysostom , Archbishop of Constantinople, is located in the village Sarakina , province Selino. It is a small one-room arch-roofed temple and houses a wood-carved iconostasis inside.

It also has a wall frescoes that have suffered almost complete destruction. From the surviving parts on the north and east walls, the church is dated between 1341 and 1349 (a surviving inscription reads 1346).

The frescoes are attributed to the iconographer of the second layer of the frescoes of Saint John in Alikianos .
