Pigadi beach at Koufonissi

Within walking distance from the sea, on the north coast of Koufonissi islet , we meet the scenic chapel of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos) , the patron saint of the sailors. Here several sandy beaches are formed.

The trail to Saint Nicholas church starts from a small beach used for tying the boats. Next to this beach there is a small well for pumping water and a small stone-built guardhouse.
