Shelter Migerou Lakos

The mountain shelter of Livadia is located at plateau Lakos Migerou in Mount Psiloritis at the region of the village Livadia and is accessible by paved road. This is the starting point of the shortest path to the peak Timios Stavros , the highest peak of Crete (2456m).

The shelter is manned by the Cultural Association of Livadia (+30 2834061489). There are 6 beds, wc, water and fireplace.

The small plateau of Migeros is covered with snow for a long time in winter and in recent years there have been various events such as mountaineering races , skiing lessons and other events for various mountain sports .
