The church of Agios Georgios (Saint George) is located in the cemetery of the village Mourne in the province of Agios Vasilios . From the style of its frescoes, it dates back to the beginning of the 14th century, even though no founding inscription has been preserved.

It is a small single-nave chapel and has fresco decoration, belonging to a local painter's workshop. They include scenes from the life of Saint George and, apparently due to the cemeterial nature of the church, scenes of the Second Coming (such as the Sea offering the dead or scenes of hell).

Among the other frescoes, the rare depiction of Saint Diomedes stands out, next to Saints Kosmas, Damianos and Panteleimon. Also of interest are frescoes with the Prophet Elias, and the griffin on the shield of Saint George (a burial custom).
