Rapaniana beach

The long beach in Rapaniana is located 20km west of Chania and 4km east of Kolimbari . It is just a part of the vast beach stretching from Peninsula Rodopos to Chania , including the beaches in front of villages Skoutelonas , Minothiana and Rapaniana .

The beach, which is sandy and pebbly in places, is an ideal choice, especially when it is not windy (the most common problem in north coastline is waves). It is very clean and has all the basic touristic amenities nearby.

You will find umbrellas, showers and a lifeguard tower. Rapaniana and its surrounding beaches are breeding points for the protected loggerhead seaturtle .

In the village Rapaniana you will find mini markets, restaurants, hotels and rooms, health center, pharmacy, dentist, post office, bank, telephone and cars to rent.
