Pitsoulakis Str and 2 G. Karaiskakis Str., Heraklion The museum of National Resistance «Manolis Badouvas» is open since 1967 and was established by the Association of National Resistance Fighters – Badouvas Groups .
It is housed in today’s Heraklion army recruitment office, the land of which belonged to the rebel of National Resistance, chieftain Manolis Badouvas . The exhibits come from the rebels of national resistance (1491-1945) or their descendants.
In the museum you will see a lot of weapons, machine guns, photos of fighters, copies of documents between the Allied Forces and the Greeks, and German documents.
