The Municipality of Kissamos is hosting the 17th Festival of Flavors and Art, a long-running annual event celebrating Cretan culture, tradition, and local produce. Now in its 17th edition, the festival has established itself as one of western Crete's signature cultural gatherings, showcasing authentic regional food products, crafts, and artistic performances. Kissamos is located on the northwest coast of Crete, approximately 42 km west of Chania, making it easily reachable by car or bus from Chania city center in under an hour. The festival is free to attend and offers visitors a genuine taste of Cretan gastronomy and folk traditions in a setting away from the more crowded tourist centers.
