Back to newsDomes Resorts, a leading Greek luxury hotel group, is expanding its presence in Crete with two new five-star properties currently in development. One hotel will be located in Chania, in the western part of the island, and the other in Rethymno, a historic coastal city midway along the northern coast. Domes already operates several premium resorts in Crete, including properties in Elounda and Heraklion. The new additions will broaden high-end accommodation options in two of the island's most popular tourist destinations. Chania is known for its Venetian harbor and Old Town, while Rethymno offers a well-preserved Renaissance-era center and long sandy beaches. No opening dates have been officially announced. Travelers planning future trips to either city can expect expanded luxury lodging choices once the projects are completed.
