Two students were taken to hospital following a Sky Express flight from Thessaloniki to Heraklion, Crete, in the early hours of Tuesday. An ambulance from EKAB, the Greek national emergency service, responded promptly at Heraklion Nikos Kazantzakis Airport after the incident occurred during or shortly after landing. The nature of the students' condition has not been fully disclosed. The airport continued to operate normally following the incident.
