The Gorge Porofarago or Sfakoryako is a small canyon, almost 2 km long, starting from village Kato Vatheia and ending near the settlement of Vrachokipos . It is crossed by the river Krommidas carrying water on the beach Kokini Hani .
The vegetation in the canyon is generally low consisting of oleander, shrubs, thyme and brambles, while the sides are in some places adorned with a few pines. It is generally easily accessible and does not require any special trekking skills.
