Karavados Dam Lake

The small dam of Karavados is located 1km south of the village Karavados , next to the road leading from Skinias to Viannos . It is watered by the river Baritis , which is a tributary of the long Anapodaris river .

The dam was constructed in 1993 and has a capacity of 180,000 cubic meters. Because of its important position and the good preservation of the wetlands around Baritis river, the dam attracts many migratory birds.
