Event on the Cretan Militia: From the Ottoman Occupation to the Cretan State

A cultural event about "The Cretan Militia from the Ottoman Occupation to the Cretan State" will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 19:30 at the Cultural Center of Chania. The event is organized by the Historical Archive of Crete, the Association of Retired Security Forces, and the Region of Crete. Distinguished speakers will include Michalis Kleidonaris (police officer and historical researcher), Giorgos Limantzakis (lecturer in Political Science and History), and Foteini Moutsidou from the Historical Archive of Crete.
