Parasfougario beach

Parasfougario beach is located in the area of Achlada , province Malevizi, about 22 km northwest of Heraklion . It is located on a steep point between the popular beaches of Lygaria and Agia Pelagia , while access is possible only from the sea by swimming about 20-25 'from Agia Pelagia or Lygaria .

Stairs from a nearby house end at this tiny beach. Impression is caused by the slope from above, which is full with crithmum .

The seabed has pebbles and coarse sand, while a small cave to the east beautifies the landscape. Parasfougario , in contrast to the neighboring beaches, is prone to north winds.
