At this point, in a wooded setting, operated a monastery dedicated to the Holy Cross (Timios Stavros) . Today the monastery is not operating.

The icons in the temple date back from 1886 and were painted by Papadakis from the village Rodopou, while the iconostasis dates back from 1883.
