The event series runs throughout the summer season and includes music evenings, theatre performances, festivals, and sporting events. Viannos is a mountainous inland municipality located south of Heraklion, known for its traditional villages and historical significance. The Kondylakeia programme is named in honour of local heritage and offers visitors an opportunity to experience authentic Cretan culture away from the main coastal tourist centres. Tourists staying in the Heraklion region or along the south coast can reach Viannos by car via the inland road network. Specific dates and venues for individual events have not yet been announced.
