Saint George church at Lambini

The church of Saint George (Agios Georgios) is located at position Maza , just east of the village Lambini in the province of Agios Vasilios . The church is overshadowed by the imposing nearby church of Panagia .

It is a small single-nave arched-roofed temple, hidden in vegetation by the main road passing by. Its interior is adorned with fragmentary preserved frescoes dating from the second half of the 13th century, following trends of the previous century with some western influences.

On the lower zones we can see saints, on the apse the Pantocrator and hierarchs, while on the arch there are scenes from the life of Christ and Saint George.
