Saint Anthony Sfougaras at Selles

The monastery of Saint Anthony (Agios Antonios) Sfougaras is located at the village Selles at province Mirabelo and its temple was built in a cave above the lovely beach of Agios Antonios . Next to the cave temple there are more caves with their entrances closed by walls that probably were used as monk cells.

The paved garden hosts a water cistern. The monastery was mentioned in documents of 1611 and was recorded in the census of 1635.
