Roussospasma beach

Roussospasma beach, Rousso Spasma or Rousso Skisma , is the easternmost beach of Xerokampos area. It can be accessed by walking 15' on the path that starts from Krinakia beach and heads east towards Kato Zakros .

Characteristic of the area are the colorful rocks, of which the reddish layer that gives the beach its name stands out ( roussos = red). The beach is formed in the mouth of a narrow bay and is very well protected from the wind, but also from prying eyes.
