Richtra Fall at Voritsi

West of the village Voritsi and very close to the monastery of Agios Georgios Kavou a compact rocky massif is formed. In the center of this impressive rock a very beautiful cascade of 25m is formed which locals call Richtra.

The waterfall is fed by a nearby spring and has water after heavy rain. Access to the base of the waterfall from the sides is possible with a lot of attention due to steep sides.

Instead, you can access the upper part very easily, as there is a dirt track very close to it. Above the waterfall a smaller one is formed (4 meters high) with a beautiful pond at its base.

Also high on the rock you will see several impressive caves.
