Latomia beach

Between Arvi and Psari Forada we meet the small settlements of Xerokambos and Latomia in a touristically degraded area where greenhouses and outdoor crops predominate, mainly banana crops. The beach is generally isolated and not at all organized, despite the fact that access from Arvi is not particularly difficult.

In front of the greenhouses, which reach the sea, stretches a long, calm beach, which starts from Faflagos and reaches Nea Arvi with a length of 4 kilometers. It has some spots with coarse gray sand and tamarisks, but most of it is rocky with characteristic formations, which were previously commercially exploited for marble.

Of course, an area with a rocky seabed like Latomia is a very good choice for underwater exploration.
