Gremopezes beach

Gremopezes beach is located within the limits of the naval base in Kyriamadi , Sitia, and below the radar of Kefala in Cape Sidero . Opposite is the rocky islet of Sidero and to the west are the rocks of Ftena Trachilia .

The beach is surrounded by cliffs composed of slab-like limestone, while landslides are occasionally triggered by the loose soil at their peak. It is accessible only by sea and unfortunately is burdened by the garbage carried by the sea currents of the area.
