Agios Nikolaos beach at Bali

Agios Nikolaos beach is located in a remote area just west of Bali , province Mylopotamos. The name comes after the Byzantine double-nave church of Saint Nicholas , which is located in a green creek that leads to a beautiful cove.

The ravine dries up at the end of spring, but many plane trees reveal the water existence. The cove of Agios Nikolaos is surrounded by impressive rocky limestone rocks that form small caves.

The small and almost semicircular bay of Agios Nikolaos has rocky seabed, and unfortunately the beach is prone to trash carried by the north winds. The beach of Agios Nikolaos is reached by two bad dirt roads that start near the motorway, over Bali .

One of them, which initially goes up to the antennas at Bombadopirgos peak and later heads to the beach, is locked. The second road approaches the beach from the east and, due to its very poor condition, requires about 10 'walking.
