Agii Apostoli beaches

The two beaches of the Agii Apostoli (the Holy Apostles) are located just 3km west of Chania and is a beautiful resort. The first cove at west is located just besides the east edge of Glaros beach .

It is a beautiful sandy beach with all amenities and a large parking place nearby and easily accessed. A small peninsula is formed on the west side of the beach, which protects it from the winds.

On the peninsula there is a nice park, which is ideal for walking, and the scenic chapel of the Holy Apostles after which the wider area takes its name. A second “twin” semicircular cove is formed some meters to the east, with beautiful greenish waters and fine sand.

The rock formations on the side are amazing. Beside the east end of the beach, there is a small pine grove extending to the east till Chrissi Akti .

You can access both coves by bus from Chania or by walking. Moreover, Agii Apostoli is ideal for biking, as there are wide paved road for bikes and walkers.

The area has many options for accommodation, with high quality hotels around.
