Tourists swimming or snorkeling at Marathi and nearby beaches should be aware that encounters with this fish are possible. Do not touch or handle it if spotted in the water or washed ashore. If you see one on a beach, alert local authorities or lifeguards. The fish poses no threat to swimmers in the water, but should never be consumed under any circumstances.
