Crete is experiencing improved weather conditions today, but residents should not expect the reprieve to last long. A significant weather system is expected to affect the island from Thursday onwards, bringing a change in atmospheric conditions across the region.
The first signs of the incoming weather system will appear in western Crete and gradually move eastward. Although the initial phase is expected to be relatively mild for the island, conditions are anticipated to deteriorate noticeably from the evening hours, primarily characterized by increased cloud cover and isolated weather phenomena.
