Cave of Agia Dynami at Argyroupolis

The cavernous temple of Agia Dynami (Holy Force) is located in Argiroupolis in province Rethymnon . Within this small chapel there is the spring of Holy Force that supplies almost entire Rethymno province with water.

Inside the temple there was an impressive mosaic depicting Christ , which has been now replaced with a simple icon as the initial has been moved to the Archaeological museum of Rethymnon . The cave is generally locked, but in case you meet the door open, you can walk into the cave through the underground river formed by the spring.
