The technology was created by Professor Konstantinos Balas and his team from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Hyperspectral imaging captures light across many wavelengths invisible to the naked eye, allowing scientists to read faded, damaged, or obscured writing on ancient documents without physically touching them.
