Scientific Seminar on Pavlos Vlastos at Theomitor

A scientific seminar dedicated to the renowned Cretan folklorist Pavlos Vlastos, held on the centenary of his death. The event explores life in Rethymno during the 19th and early 20th centuries (1800-1926), examining daily life, social organization, economic activities, customs, and traditions. Featuring presentations from scholars, researchers, and educators on topics including Ottoman-Christian relations, traditional music, local press, education, and Vlastos's significant contributions to preserving Cretan cultural heritage.
